Pick Up & Traveling To The Camp

The majority of Desert Safari Trips start in the evening.

Our trip began with a pick-up at 3 pm from Safeer Mall, which is situated quite far from downtown Dubai but it was close to where we were staying.

It took around an hour and a half of driving from Safeer Mall to reach the safari camp, which was situated between and Abu Dhabi.

Other Activities To Do At The Dubai Desert Safari

After the sand dune bashing adventure, we were told to remain at the camp where a variety of activities were available.

A man with a falcon, camels, and a small shop selling water, scarves, and most importantly a bathroom were all located there.

Furthermore, there was an area where visitors could pay extra to rent an ATV (quad bike) and drive it around a designated flat area (not in the dunes).

If you’re interested in a Dubai Desert Safari camel ride, there’s an area in the camp offering short, free rides.

However, if you desire a longer ride, additional fees are charged.

Keep in mind that camels are much taller than horses, but move slowly and calmly.

Morning Desert Safari

If you are busy in the Morning Desert Safari in Dubai and have time for the safari in the first half of the day, the morning safari is the right time. A vehicle will pick you up at around 9 a.m. and take you directly to the desert.

Here you will enjoy 20 minutes of exciting dune bashing in a 4×4 vehicle with our experienced drivers before returning to the camp provided by the zoo. At the camp, you will also have the option to try quad biking, camel safaris, and sand boarding. The dune buggy riding experience is popular and considered the most adventurous of the desert safari experience.
These activities can be completed within 2 hours. Complimentary water and soft drinks are provided at the camp. Afterward, you will be transferred by car to your hotel.

Evening Desert Safari

the exciting dune safari tour in the Evening desert Safari, you will reach your first destination for a beautiful sunset. We will stop to watch the sunset and continue the dune rush before finally arriving at our camp. Sunsets in the desert with camel riding are the best moments to click some beautiful photos.
Apart from the adventure activities with decreasing temperatures, you can try out henna designs on your hands or feet. After that, taste the delicious barbecue dinner at the camp. The option for smoking the famous Arabic hookah is available. You can experience the fire show and Tanura show by the campfire under the starlight to conclude the day.

Overnight Desert Safari

At least 2 people will make this safari extra enjoyable, but if you are on your own, booking this overnight Dubai Desert Safari would be an excellent option. The overnight Dubai safari is an extension of the evening desert safari. It begins once the evening safari guests leave the campsite.

You can relax at night in your overnight tent and enjoy the star-filled sky, moon list sand dunes of the desert. Tents will be provided as well as mattresses, pillows and blankets. You can also try the Shisha smoking facility at the Shisha Corner.

The Desert Safari Camp have toilet and shower facilities ensuring hygiene. The next morning, after the freshly prepared breakfast with tea or coffee, we will return to the hotel.

The Dinner And Show

We discovered a cozy area to settle down and prepare for the upcoming dinner and show.

There were these low long tables, and instead of a chair, you sat on a pillow.

Once it got dark, the show started. The performance included a belly dancer, a spinning dervish, and an impressive flame dancer.

The entertainers were all exceptional, particularly the dervish (never seen anything like this before).

Halfway through the show, we had a buffet dinner.

The buffet offered a wide variety of options, with most of them being delicious traditional dishes.

Also, there were vegetarian options (my friend is vegetarian and she was happy with the food).

For beverages, there were choices of water, Fanta Orange, Sprite, and Coke, but no diet or zero options were available.

Keep in mind that alcohol is not served or available.

After we finished eating and the show ended, we boarded the tour bus around 8.15 pm and returned to the mall where we had initially met. The trip to and from the desert was long and tiring, with the heat leaving us exhausted.
